I loved all of your advice on theme/no theme/in between theme, etc. It really helped me figure out what I wanted, I'm glad I took the time to really think it through.

I never found a border I liked (all made me feel too stuck on one theme for some reason) so I stenciled clusters of stars all over the room instead and I love it! We repainted the room a pale, pale blue and it looks so peaceful, yet cheerful I think.

Once we hang the curtains, put the mattress in the crib, get the glider/rocker, etc., I will post the finished product pics.

Also, dh put the laminate floor down himself last week, took about 3 partial days, not bad and only $1.39 per square foot.

I found these curtains at Tuesday Morning for only $20 per panel! I was about to get the PBK navy corduroy ones for $59 per panel but was hoping to find something 'just as good' but for less money and so far I'm very happy with them. I'm going to iron them and get the curtain rod up next week so I'll know better then, but I think they'll do the trick. :-)

Thanks again for all the help with this stuff!

Bonnie-It looks gorgeous! I love the star clusters that you did. Totally adorable. And tell DH that the floor is awesome.

Wow - did your DH do the floor by himself? It's beautiful - is it wood or laminate? We're considering doing flooring in our playroom (which used to be our dining room), but I have no idea how affordable it might be. So pretty though...

It's beautiful! I'm very jealous (no nursery :( ) but so happy for you. I love the stars and the furniture and your little accent pieces!

Love the furniture you chose! Beautiful pieces. The floor coloring is what I want to do in Nolan's room!
