Do I call hubby who is on golf course with out of town client???-Tristan took his first steps!!!!!!

AHHHHHH!!!!! I don't think I ever thought he'd do it!!!!!
Tristan has been standing and letting go for a long long time now but no attempt what so ever of taking a step. Well he just let go of a chair and I could tell he tensed up so I said out loud (to relax him) "dance dance dance"...you could see him totally relax and forget he was standing and then all of a sudden he took 5 steps to me.

He has repeated it a good 10 times, and then come tumbling towards me...he is so beside himself with joy!!!!

Steve has a big week with clients in from out of town, golfing now and then a dinner to entertain...do I call him????
I so want to...they'll understand won't they?????

I would totally call! What a huge, exciting step for Tristan. I'm sure Steve will want to hear and then he can brag to his clients. If they have kids I'm sure they'll understand.

Does his phone have "text" capabilities? You can do that as an alternative...I do that with my DH when he's in an important meeting.

He was so excited...he gushed and said "Oh I love you honey...thank you for him!!!!!" so glad I called, he will probably be in after T's bed time so no showing off for daddy!!!!
This is too much fun!!!!!
Tristan is funny you can see him balancing trying his hardest not to fall!!!!...
Of to practice !!!!...thank you for the encouragement I never would have called without it!!!!

Good girl (and boy)! Had I seen this sooner I would have said to get those fingers a-dialing because T's daddy should most definitely know he's walking - even if he was IN a meeting. Who wouldn't think it cute if a guy in a meeting got off his phone and said, 'My son just started walking!'

Wonderful! Congratulations! Off to the races, Tristan :) . Everyone tried to warn me that once they start walking it gets harder, but it has only been more fun. Congrats. And take pictures so daddy can see!
