Hi all,

I've sold a few things on e-bay and am actually stunned at how pricey things are to ship.

My Combi US (2 lbs) diaper bag is $7.50 via parcel post as quoted from the UPS Store & via UPS the cost would be $8.70. Is this the reality of shipping or is there a cheaper way to do this?

Also, where can I find those gray-ish/silvery bags in which a lot of WAHMs ship there goods? Can I buy those somewhere?

Thanks,

Juliet

I've found that Fed Ex Ground is cheaper for items over 2 lbs. Also, going through the UPS Store will incur an upcharge. Check the UPS site directly.

I dunno about the silvery bags. I'd suggest emailing a WAHM who uses them and asking her.

Oh, and shipping charges are going up quickly due to the price of gas...

I've found the good old U.S. Postal Service is usually very reasonable. You can go to their website and check rates; if you use priority mail they will supply the large shipping bag/envelope. I think some people get the mailing bags you are talking about at office supply stores.

Good luck!
