DD thinks "baby" means "bald"??

This is kind of funny. My DD has been signing baby for few weeks now. When she signs, she says, "bei-be". I thought, how cute! and she is pretty smart! :)

Few days ago, TV was on, and there was a baldish, middle aged man reading news on the screen. DD went up to the TV, and said, "bei-be" (signing). Okay, maybe she just wanted to sign baby for no reason. About 30 minutes later, she somes to the TV again, and there is another guy reading a news, again, baldish. She goes again, "bei-be" (signing). Sigh...., I guess I have to show her more "real" baby pictures!!

That is very cute! And a very understandable distinction. Heck, I think it is quite advanced that she would notice a characteristic of something, rather than the type of something! I can't wait until DS gets this whole sign language thing....
