My DS was recently diagnosed with asthma (my DH was highly allergic and had asthma until age 4). We went to a nutritionist for help to boost his immune system as his asthma occurs whenever he gets sick. Our next visit is an allergist as the nutritionist thinks he may be allergic to milk. He's had eczema for a year and I've never thought about what could be causing it.
Does anyone have any experience with any of this? The nutritionist said western medicine treats the symptoms (like cream for the eczema) without treating the cause and therefore eliminating the symptom. Make alot of sense to me!
I know you are all so experienced her, I just wondered if someone else had gone down this path before.
Thanks,
Meredith
P.S. I have an asthma tip to share. I requested a medical baseline application from our electric company as our bill was sky-high since Dylan has started needing to use the nebulizer often. I got my first bill since they accepted the application and it is 100 dollars lower than previous month's bills! I am so excited. It was just a simple form to fill out and then it needed a doctor's signature. We are in to see the doctor so often there was no problem getting that!
