I bought a crockpot, but I am new to this strange crockpot way of life!

Anyone have any books they particularly like? I'm looking for something with relatively simple recipes. If I had time to brown meat, etc, I wouldn't need a crockpot!

Thanks!

ivillage has a crock pot cooking board and they have tons of recipies over there! You usually get a little crock pot cookbook with your crockpot too.... well my rival one did! I would rather save money on buying the book and just get my recipes online.... I am sure if you put crockpot recipies into your search engine you would get some good ones... possibly even on a Rival site!

About browning the meat.... usually they tell you to brown the meat first cause otherwise it will look kinda colorless(grey) and funky. I always find it gives the meat a nice flavor and color to quickly brown it first..... doesn't take too much time!

Good Luck
