I have a new crawler on my hands and he would not stand for this!

Yes. Very extreme! Yes my son knocks his head sometimes but didn't we all? A cloth helmet for crawling seems overly cautious to me but maybe needed if you have stone floors? Whatever floats your boat....

That has got to be one of the silliest things I have EVER seen!

Yes, in truth I think it is extreme. BUT, I must confess, when Colin was first learning to walk I often joked that I was ready to pay good money for some sort of helmet! He was CONSTANTLY falling and hitting his head on one thing or another- multiple times a day! He looked like Harry Potter for months because he always had some sort of bruise right on the middle of his forehead! And ironically, Colin LOVES hats, so I'm sure I could have convinced him to wear it! :)

Hee hee! And to think when we were little we never saw a helmet for bike riding and we rode in cars w/o seatbelts! What next, helmets for walking adults? We might trip, you know!

That is a trip! My kids would never have worn something like that. Eliza doesn't mind hats but I don't think she would put up with that.

Honestly I would be embarrassed to put this on my child. It's just too goofy. What are they going to do next? Bubble wrap body suits?

I have a better idea - someone should invent a "swiffer" suit for all our crawlers - what an easy way to collect all the dust bunnies rolling on by :)

I am cooking so can't read other responses. My gosh! I burst out laughing becasue the kid is actually really cute. But no, I would not buy it. If you are concerned, you can have them wear a bike helmet. Or, that thing kind of looks like a Pull-Up... maybe 2 of those will do? lol.

Waaaayyy over the top to me. Couldn't having something on their head like that give them a neck strain? ;)

LOL I can't believe my mom hasn't bought this for DS. She's constantly concerned about bruises on his head and is fairly serious about his need for a helmet.

It reminds me of a SNL joke - like the diaper thong! But seriously, I could see my mother trying to make DD wear it!

That is so RIDICULOUS!!! I have to say though that my sister actually babysat for a woman who made her kids (ages 2 & 3)wear helmets whenevr they would play outside. No matter what they were doing, playing in the yard, on the swingset, etc. That's just crazy! Unfortunately bumps and bruises are part of being a kid...we all made it,right?
