Need your prayers- preggo complications mentioned

* I hate to post this since there are many mommies who are enjoying an uncomplicated pregnancy and many here dealing with m/c.

I have been in the hospital since yesterday for what turned out to be bad food poisoning but they couldn't find the embryo when they did an ultrasound. My Dr. is suspecting an ectopic pregnancy since my levels are so high still and I haven't bled at all. They can't locate an implantation anywhere but my levels indicate that I am still pregnant. These test were not done by my OB/GYN since she was out of town so I hope she can tell us more or even give us better news. She said there is still hope.

We go in tomorrow for another blood check and possilby an ultrasound.

I am so sorry honey...keep us posted....
I have never heard of a DR not confirming for an ectopic and sending one home if they think that is what is going on...so I am hoping that your DR doesn't really think this....I don't know how far you are and wondered if it is that....I odn't know but that unsettles me some I must say, I hope others will have soemthing more to add...

Anyway I only write this for if there is even the slightest hint of an ectopic is should be ruled out via sono tomorrow...and actually immediatly I would think....especially if a medical doctor "is suspecting and ectopic"....I say this so that you insist on an US if this is the case and the DR did say that...

Our thoughts are with you honey...keep us posted, I will be out of town tomorrow so lack of a response in your follow up will be due to that but I'll catch up Wednesday....
