Best way to guard against the sun??

Any veteran moms have any good suggestions on how to sun-proof things for my DS? (He is just about six months old)

We tried to go for a walk in his stroller today and it was too sunny! I don't want to hide away all summer but I worry about him getting too much exposure to the sun! He has the most beautiful skin and I would hate to see him get any sun damage. We live in VA near the beach and it is going to be hot and sunny soon!

Any tips greatly appreciated!

A hat with a big rim is a must. And sunscreen. Oh yeah does your stroller have a good size shade? If not I think you could purchase one separately.

Isn't everything nice and green now! Feels good to get out of the house.
