Eva had a horrible case of infant acne when she was about three weeks old and it lasted for about 4 weeks. Well, she is now 11 months and we are still nursing two-three times a day. I just started my cycle again on April 11, after about 10 months; and now Eva has developed a rash on her face. I swear it looks very similar to the infant acne she had when she was a newborn. Is it possible that my hormones are doing this to her?
I am trying to figure out if I should go ahead and wean her because of this. My original plan was to wean somewhere around 15 months, and I just don't feel ready to give up breastfeeding yet, but on the other hand the rash only seems to be getting worse and I really hate to think that I am the one causing it, KWIM?
What do you ladies think?
