Yesterday Kai took his first significant consecutive steps. At least he has stopped trying to step twice in a row with the same foot, LOL! He did about 6 steps in a row several times, so I think we'll count it!

He also started saying "cat" yesterday. He's done the "mamamamam" and "dadadada" before, but this was the first word I could really see him working hard trying to say a word. It is so cute. It either comes out as "caa" or "at-t", but not together yet. He says it in the morning when we say hi to the cats first thing!

Congrats mama! Way to go Kai!!

DS's first word was "kitty". And he does say "hi" now every time he sees one of the cats, too. I guess our little boys love their cats!

It's so cute when they start saying words other than mama dada. WTG Kai on the walking and the new found language :D.

That's awesome. Ryan has been attempting to say Gordon (our dog) for the last few days. He starting waving to him today!

Congrats to Kai. I can picture him saying hi to the cats in the morning now!

Yep, I was in the shower when he woke up today, and DH said the first thing he did was sit up, look at the cat, and say "At-t"! I pointed at the dog a bit ago and he said "at-t" so we've got a little work to do there! :)

That is awesome Deborah! Go Kai! We had a breakthrough moment yesterday too - C's standing by himself. He thinks its the funniest thing! No words yet but he knows to look for our cat Kirby when I mention his name.
