nutritional info for family

I do not know that much about nutrition.

I need information about what kinds of food are best to feed kids in the morning. I think I remember reading something like a protein and a carb.

Does anyone have any good nutritional sites bookmarked?

Ellyn Satter ("Child of Mine") has a book called "Secrets of Feeding a Healthy Family". I know I have it somewhere, but not sure where.
