Sometimes I have so much to do I do nothing. I need some schedules, guidelines, job descriptions...
Any ideas?
I saw this recently on a friend's bookshelf. I don't know if it's any good, but thought I'd check it out sometime: http://tinyurl.com/ywoh3

I've read it and really enjoyed it! It is from a Christian point of view--I think published in affiliation with MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). I'd recommend it!

I second Flylady. I adapt it to my own needs, but it truly helps me feel more organized and on top of things.

I really like the book Confessions of an Organized Housewife by Denise Schoffield (I might have spelled that wrong). I'm not a SAHM but I still think the book is full of great ideas no matter what your work status is.

I second that. I also like her Confessions of an Organized Family. Really good, practical life stuff.
I checked my copy and I think it's spelled Schofield.

A good book on cleaning schedules is "Sidetracked home executives : from pigpen to paradise" by Pam Young and Peggy ? . It is what the FlyLady site is based from.... but much simpler.

Heres an old thread I started. You will have to scroll thru all the pages to get eveything though. There are shopping lists, menu plans, daily schedules, cleaning your home suggestions, etc. Hope it helps!

I really didn't care for this book. I was on the fence about purchasing this and finally did a few months ago from overstock.com After reading it I have decided unless I really know I want a book I am going to try to check it out of the library first. I felt this way about Miserly Moms too but my local library doesn't have it so I went ahead and odered it. I hope it is money well spent.

Amy,
Thank you so much for posting this link, it is very helpful--and very generous of your time for typing it all out! I was in the throes of fiscal year end bonus stuff at work when this came out last year and I missed it. Now that I'm at home I need some structure!
