I have to reiterate how much I love this community. Everyone is really supportive, and even if they aren't supportive, they respect the fact that it's YOUR right to choose to raise your child the way you are.

I know I'm going to stop taking that for granted.

Allison,

My Matthew Nicholas was almost Matthew Clayton after my husband's grandfather who passed away while I was pregnant. I remember seeing your son's name months and months ago and thinking how cool it was that you chose it.

And their birthdays are so close as well!

I stumbled upon urbanbaby once - OUCH - I'll never go back there - really vicious stuff.

Candy,
How cool is that? My Matthew's named for my grandfather (Clayton LESTER--we passed on the middle name!). We tried to go for something on my DH's side but other than Joseph (repeatedly) there wasn't much to choose from. I like Matthew Nicholas too, actually, it has a nice ring!

Clayton Lester's definitely better than my GF name: Albert Sylvester... He was boy #13 out of 15 siblings & they'd already used John twice!!!
