My DS is now down to 2 naps a day. He used to take 3 and this all happened right around his first birthday.
He takes a nap at 10am for about 45 minutes to 1 hour then a nap around 2pm for about 1hr and 15 min-30 min.
Just curious what other 1 year olds are up to!
Also, anyone have their 1 year olds just lose interest in videos and cartoons??? My DS used to watch 1 video a day and loved them. Now all the sudden he has the attention span of about 5 minutes! Did this happen to anyone too?

Lane used to take 2 naps and just went to 1 this week. He goes down around 11:45-12:00 and will sleep 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
He was mildly interested in videos/TV when he was younger, but has no interest now; not even 5 minutes. I figured I would at least know some Wiggles songs by now, but I'm clueless!

J. is still taking 2 naps a day at 15 months (at pretty much the same times and durations as you've mentioned). About 2 weeks ago I thought he was going to 1 nap/day, but I'm finding unless he gets 2, he's REALLY crabbing before bed. He was a solid 3 nap a day kid until about 11 months.

My one year old is taking two naps a day, for the most part... sometimes he refuses the afternoon nap. I can't believe your son was taking 3 naps!!
My son still likes the Wiggles, and will glance at Baby Einstein videos. I've got some Signing Times videos on the way, so hopefully he will like them.
My 11 month old takes 2 naps a day on a typical day. One in the morning for an hour-an hour and fifteen minutes and one in the afternoon (around 3) for at leat an hour and a half.
As for videos, he used to watch a Baby Einstein DVD once a day + he loved every minute. Now he's on the go and watches a few minutes here or there but would much prefer playing. This is a good thing but I did like the 20 minutes the video afforded so DH + I could eat dinner like adults! No more!

My DD is 14 months old and takes one nap a day. She quit her morning nap, cold turkey, the week she turned one. She gets up at 7:00, naps from around noon 'til 2:00 or 2:30, and goes to bed between 7 and 7:30. We wake her in the mornings to go to the sitter's house, but on weekends she will often sleep until 8:00 or longer, and then naps later in the afternoon rather than at noon.

My 13 month old went down to 1 nap a day at about 11 months. She only takes one a day, but it is usually a long one (3 to 3.5 hours).
She never has been that interested in the TV at all.

Jude is almost 1 year. He was taking 2 naps a day, and now he is taking 1 in the afternoon for 2-3 hours. He has always had a short attention span, so videos (his 1 a week) are short and sweet.
