I am drawing a blank. Today we glued glitter on G.

Thank you for any ideas.

I like Anna's idea, I've got loads to spare too! My dog is ridiculously hairy! LOL :-)

Hmm, other ideas...

Hot pepper came to mind, but I guess that might be dangerous.

Honey? eww.

Ah Ha! Heath bar crunch!?

Have fun, you're a fun mama!

LOL! I thought of hair, too, and I have plenty of Malamute hair for the taking, too.

Hot sauce from taco bell?
Hard candy?
Hearts?

Ok I like the hearts idea best. I'll quit while I'm ahead.

How about Honeycomb cereal? Heart shapes...candies, craft foam pieces, stickers?

Now I'm curious as to what you glued on the other letters? :)

I thought I was being so smart and original:

A -- we made finger print ants
B -- bandaids
C -- corn
D -- hole punch dots
E -- eggshells
F -- feathers
G -- glitter

I just did a Google search and came up with this page: http://mrsalphabet.com/glueabc.html

I guess it has all been done before!!

I'm just curious how old your child(ren) are? The reason I ask is Jamie is just really getting interested in letters - perhaps I'm ignorant but I was kind of surprised - he started on his own but, of course, I want to encourage him. But I'm thinking he might be too young to make the connection? Of course, I thought he was too young to get letters, which is why I ask.

TIA,

My DS just turned 5. We have been reviewing letters and numbers to get ready for kindergarten. There is an expectation that he knows this stuff. http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif

My DD who is 20 months has been working right along with us. She actually recognizes A, O and G!! I find this surprising as my DS took a long time to recognize any letters.

She has having fun gluing, making play dough letters, tracing in shaving cream and sand... I would not be doing these things with her on her own. But she is having fun.
