I am 7 and half weeks pregnant with a high risk pregnancy (following several unexplained miscarriages). Started progesterone for low levels at week 5. I went for my first ultrasound yesterday and the embryo measured only 7 weeks with a fetal heart rate on the low side of 115. The doc seemed to be a little concerned as he wants me to come back in 1 week for another ultrasound. I am, of course, worried, even though he tried to seem positive. Anybody experience something like this and what was the outcome? Thanks.

I haven't but I just wanted to offer you some good luck vibes and I hope this was just a fluke thing and the rest of the pregnancy is fine.

We had a placenta tear at 9 weeks and the heart rate was low at that time. After a lot of bed rest and prayer it healed itself. I'm sure you doc. is just being cautious. Try to relax and stay positive. I know it is easier said than done but I think that it would be the best thing for you and the baby. I'll keep you in our prayers. Keep us posted!

At my 6w5d u/s the baby's hr was 118. They didn't actually say anything to me, but I did some research and was freaked out b/c it was on the low side. By 9 weeks it was 180, and at our 19 week u/s it was 157 (yesterday).
