I'm looking into purchasing one of the Sesame Street Platinum CD's for DD from overstock and they have a regular one and a blisterpack for a little more. What is a blisterpack?

I think that blisterpack is a certain kind of packaging. Could it be more collectable that way?

My husband also says its a type of packaging. Is there any difference between the CDs? If Overstock isn't clear on the difference between the CDs, look them up on Amazon and see if the blurb there says there is any difference.
