craigslist question - pathetic actually!

I think I've found something on craigslist that I'd like to purchase. How do I do this? I'm thinking that I just email the person, right? How stupid does this sound! And do you arrange a pickup location and payment (I'm guessing cash only?) And yes, I've looked up the faq, but can only find answers to posting an item for sale.

Oh boy, I don't sound too bright here! Of course, I can't get my hopes up as this item was posted about 2 weeks ago and could be gone. So, any help for this pathetic woman??

Yep, you can just email them and set up a time and payment (usually cash) form.. that is how it works! Even though the email at the bottom might be some 'anonymous' thingy.. it is just a scrambled version of their real email.. so they will get it.
