Need Hotel Recommendations near Sesame Place

We're thinking of going to Sesame Place in August. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel (chain preferred) in that general vicinity? Also..are there any outlet malls in that immediate area? We'll be going to SP on a Thursday, staying overnight and then driving up to Allentown on Friday in time for dinner. We'll have Friday open to shop/sightsee etc unless we opt to go back into the park for a little bit Friday AM.

I cannot help you but I didn't even know what Sesame Place was till I did a google search. It looks really cool! You will have to let us know how your trip goes!

I will! I ended up booking a suite @ Hawthorn Suites in Allentown since that's our final stop...looks to be about an hour from Sesame Place...eh..can always cancel that and stay closer to the park.

We'll see how it goes!

I was just going to recommend a hotel we stayed at recently for a wedding, but after Mapquest-ing it it's too far out of the way to recommend. Anyway, I was on the Sesame Place site and found this - special hotel/park packages - don't know if you saw it or not:

We wanted to swing by Sesame Place when we were in Philly for the wedding since DD was with us, but we just didn't have the time. Another trip, another day I guess! Have fun!

Thanks for that hotel link...i tried 2 different browsers and couldn't access their links..but was able to w/ your direct link. I'll check out a few of those. I figured I'd book the Allentown one and could always cancel that if we stay closer to Sesame Place!
