I'm not looking at it as a purchase so folks will recognize me, but more as a badge an elite group of the best mommies (and daddies) in the world. If proceeds can go to a great cause I am even happier about it...but these boards have been a huge part of my mothering and I would love to have a little trophy of the great experience.

I wanted to add some information to Kerri's post. We have found a wonderful vendor. When I told him about Samuel he knocked some fees off the price of the pins.

The price of the pins drop considerably according the the # we order. The less the pins cost the more money we are able to raise for Samuel.

So, the pins will most likely cost between $5-$8 with the donation built in. If we are able to sell a large # it will probably be closer to the $5 mark.

I hope that helps everyone make an informed decision.

For those of you you expressed concerns about the "crazy beaded lady", we are doing a LAPEL pin for sure. So don't worry about that. And, hopefully it will be under $10. Remember all but about $3 of that will be going to Samuel's family.
