That house is FABULOUS!! I don't suppose it's in Maine, is it? I went to school in southern Maine and dh and I rented a house on an island while we lived there (boy do I miss that - it was SO pretty). I came across a house that looks exactly like this one when I was out riding my bike one afternoon. It wasn't finished when we were there, but it sure looked an awful lot like this one. I used to tell dh that I wanted a house exactly like it. Anyway, it's amazing! Your dh is very talented.

I absolutely love it! The true divided light windows, trim work throughout (I'm molding obsessed), and the coffered ceilings were some of my favorite aspects. Can you tell that I am an attorney who is desperately trying to become a (traditional) interior designer !?! :)

Thanks, everyone, for your lovely compliments. We're both very touched. To answer questions, the house is in coastal Connecticut, and yes, Clay would travel to Montana, lol. :) We get to go visit the house, too-- yay! I'm excited.

mmmm, gorgeous...love the way he breaks up the dining area from the kitchen; I haven't seen those open bookcases used in a treatment like that before, atop cabinets. very nice, I let my subscription to Architectural digest slip in favor of Parents magazine after DD was born. BIG mistake.

I can't wait to build a home like that.

Let's see if I can put a few here for you. We just went and spent a night at this house, and I can't even believe how beautiful it is. The pictures don't begin to show it. The clients have done a gorgeous job with the landscape and interiors, and it was simply stunning. Last night before bed, Abigail said, unprompted, "I like this house very much." LOL!
