View Full Version : Going to burst!

Well, I'm surprising myself by doing this, but I literally feel like I can't hold it in another minute! I've suspected I was pregnant this whole week, but not until today did I get an unequivocal positive. I tested Tuesday and Wednesday and got very faint lines and although I already "knew," I was still happy to see the dark line appear today!
Last time I was so superstitious and didn't tell until I was 14 weeks along, but this time I just can't bear the thought of a three month wait. DH and I decided we'd wait until I see the dr. (probably at 8 weeks) to share with people IRL, so I decided to have my official coming out here. Based on my LMP date, the due date will be March 23rd, just 6 days after Mia's second birthday. Hmmm, wonder what the odds of two St. Paddy's Day babes would be?
I know there are a million and one things that can go wrong this early, but will you join me in a cautious, early celebration??? I'm just so excited at the thought of another little babe and a little brother or sister for Mia!

Congratulations! I had the same experience with the faint lines and then the darker line. So nice to get a line you don't have to squint to see!
Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!

I'm actually already feeling a little queasy in the evenings and very tired, which surprises me b/c I had very little "morning sickness" type symptoms at all last time and definitely not until much later. I guess each time is different. The fatigue is the same though!

Marisa - I noticed that too!
I've been thinking of your posts about how challenging it is to keep up with a toddler while pregnant (though obviously you've had more than the usual issues to cope with) and thought that's what I have ahead!
I'm glad to be in such good company around here!

Congratulations! There is nothing wrong with a little early celebration. :) My sister and I were 2 years and 4 days apart and very close. I think that is a great age apart to have siblings. Wishing you a healthy 9 months!

A great BIG (cautious) congrats to you!
Wanna be my pregnancy buddy? I have an appointment next week to go to the OB. (I was going to wait until then to officially "announce" it.)
It's funny. I think my due date will probably end up being right around DD's birthday (3/25) and she is also going to be 2!!!!!! This is a big guess, since I'm not good at calculating this stuff.
