My grandfather is recovering from a heart attack and is under very strict orders to consume no salt. This is huge for him, as he is very much a steak, beef stew, Japanese food or Chinese food person. In other words, everything he likes is salty.
He lives alone and I'm trying to come up with some food I can drop off for him to freeze. I'll also be going by a lot with lunches, etc to spend time with him so regular recipes would be great too. The key is no salt. I did a net search and didn't find much.
He's pretty hard-headed and he loves his food so I'm afraid if we can't come up with some tasty alternatives he's going to cheat and just order in a load of Chinese. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
