Does anyone have an update on Lauren????

I may have missed a posting, but I was curious if anyone has talked to Tammy in the past couple of days. I have really been thinking of them and hope that little Lauren is getting better each day.

I talked to Tammy yesterday, and Lauren had a PIC line placed in the late morning (after several failed attempts- no fun for Lauren or her parents!). They were told they should be released after getting home care instructions from a home health nurse, but by the time they were all packed up and five minutes from leaving, a hospital staff member told them the nurse wouldn't be available until today. Soooo, after getting home healthcare instructions, they were released this a.m., and the PIC line will continue to be in place and doing its job from their house.

Thanks so much for the update! I have been wondering how little Lauren is doing. I am so glad they are finally able to go home and hopefully she will continue to improve!!They have been through so much!
