Saturday we were in the mall when we had another dipe leak. It was the second leak in an hour, so I had to buy Sophie an outfit.

I waddled to Nordy's just as they were closing. Jonathan got her undressed and changed while I bought her a little Polo striped dress. I automatically picked up an 18m without thinking. The dress fits, but it's not going to fit for much longer.

She spilled water down the front, and wasn't very neat at dinner, so I had to wash it. I was secretly hoping that the stripes would bleed and I'd have an out, but no go ;).

I don't have the tags, but I have the receipt. Do you think I can exchange it for a 24m or am I stuck with it till Amelia's big enough to wear it?

I imagine that they would take it back. If I had worn and washed something though, I wouldn't ask to return it unless something was wrong with it.

Hopefully you'll get alot more use out of it the second time around!

No experience, but I hear the will take most anything back, so I wouldn't think exchanging it for another size would be an issue. Tell them you love it, bought it, washed it and then freaked when you realized you'd purchased the wrong size. I'm betting they will say it's fine to exchange.

I'm not sure, but girl, two leaks in an hour???? What's up with that?

I'm probably sticking my foot in my mouth, and I don't mean to offend- but I don't think it's right to return it. The store can't sell it to someone else, it's not defective. They will just have to "eat" the cost of the dress, which simply raises prices for everybody else. Maybe you could ebay it to recoup the loss?

Not sure, but I'm just realizing you know baby #2's gender, did you find out recently?! Congrats on girl number two, I think it would so much fun to have two little girls!

Ah, you missed my bitching thread. 124 leaky dipes in one Pampers box ;).

Yeah, Julie, I've been thinking the same thing. I'm probably going to end up keeping it.

*sigh* My fault for being in such a rush.

No thoughts on the dress.

Just wanted to say I love the name you picked for Sophie's lil sis. Beautiful name.

Ah! I'll have to go read that one. Sounds intriguing :P

And you, i think, missed my response to one of your old posts--it was about Sophie's new avatar...how she and Audrey look alike...Audrey was sitting on my lap at the computer when I saw the new picture (the big one), and she squeals "Aw-dreeeeee!!!!!!!!!!" She thought she was looking at her own picture :)

Thank you for not being offended! I've actually been fretting over what I said, and hoping you wouldn't be upset. Your newest little angel will probably get TONs of use out of it!

They really could be related. Now if we could just figure out what Sophie's sister will look like we'd be in business! :P
