I went in for another US today...last minute I just got scared!!!!
The baby is where it should be according to the perinatalogist, I like him a lot but he is he very very matter a fact and always has been.
So when we saw the heartbeat I said "great I'm out of the woods" the expression my DR used when we saw Tristan's heartbeat.

He said "well not really", he reserves that remark for when a baby is 5 milimeters with a heartbeat, and mine is evidenlty 4 (1/6 of an inch-that blows my mind that a 1/6th of an inch can have a heartbeat)...but I feel real good about things!!!!

Only one heart beat, he said something last time that did make me kind of wonder if he suspected twins...but only one!!!!

Thank you so much, I was so shocked to see the heartbeat after all I've been thru...still in shock and really haven't celebrated, it's awful that joy has been taken away from me that I can't just relax...

I am so happy for you! Our RE said we were out of the woods once we saw the heartbeat. It looks like everything is finally falling into place for you. You have been through so much and you totally deserve this! It is great that you are adopting as well. DH caught me drifting into the adoption forum a couple of weeks ago. I am starting to look into adoption so I might be calling on you for advice in the comming months.

Terrific!! When I found out I was pregnant this time, I was hesitant to celebrate or let myself be excited, and so I can only imagine how you feel. But...Joanne and Tracey both decided they would be excited for me and that meant a ton!
So Neve, I'm excited for you and praying for your little "heartbeat!"

Neve, I love seeing the new signature and seeing that you are hopeful, increasingly confident and planning for it! That is a good thing, my friend. My fingers are crossed for a happy, healthy 9 mths and that you will be very big bellied when you go to the Ukraine! Well, not so big bellied that it makes travel difficult, but YKWIM!
