Well we got back last weekend from our St Thomas trip and I have posted here and there but I just feel settled in this weekend and now it's time to catch up on everything here :)
We had an absolutely wonderful time. We ended up not buying Billy a ticket for the plane and were able to get a seat for him every time (Boston-San Juan, San Juan-St Thomas and back). The gate agents and flight attendants were great, very friendly and helpful. The resort was beautiful, with a great swim-up pool bar where Billy loved to eat ice and drink juice while mom and dad had the "real juice" :) We went with another couple who have a little girl 1 year older than Billy and they were the best of friends all week. It was all Billy could do to keep up :) We also brought along another friend (she's 17) of all of ours to babysit the kids at night so we could all go out. It was the best of both worlds, we got to play with the kids all day and still go out at night :)
Billy loved the beach, the sand, seaweed, crabs, waves, everything. He also loved the pool and everything he could get his hands on. We had beautiful weather and I think I easily gained about 10 pounds from eating, drinking and just playing by the beach and pool. We did alot of snorkeling, and some shopping (DH got me a beautiful tanzanite and diamond ring) and spent a day on St John. Overall we had the best time and can't wait to go back again.
