Totals for the BBB pin sale/raffles!

Right after I posted the raffle winners, Anna finished with the totals. So they get their own post, and boy, do they deserve it!

Here are the rough totals:

$1427 was sold in pins!

$584 was raised from "Extra money for Samuel"!

$839 was raised from raffle ticket sales!

So, minus expenses, we raised $2250 for Samuel's family! All I can say is WOW!!!!!

We exceeded our goal of raising two thousand!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who bought pins or raffle tickets! The members of the community have been so generous and you have all made this event such a huge success!!!! You have all been so supportive, through the contest and multiple posts, and of course ordering the pins and raffle tickets. This community is just so amazing!

The pins are expected to ship early next week, so be ready to start checking your mail boxes!

Once again, thank you all for your amazing support! You rock!

I'll give you an update on the pin!

I spoke to the vendor today and he said our pins have shipped from production already. We should have them by Friday and will be packaging and mailing them out next week.

I can't wait to see them IRL.

Thank you all for your support in this project. It has really been an amazing process.

Once we have the pins in our hands we will post another update so you all know when to start checking your mailboxes.

PS - As a side note, bestest is my current "made up" word of the moment, at least that works on these boards. The other one, "stabbity" only really works in the context of some books and online games. As in, "A sword is a stabbity weapon." My husband was totally mortified at my attempts to get Taran to say "stabbity" when we were at the bookstore earlier today. ;) Considering we're still at sounds rather than words, I'm not too worried. You've got to have some fun every now and then! ::grin:: - M.
