So a lot of you recently shared pics of our parents with kids, recent pics of kids. How about baby shower pics??? It seems like a lifetime ago that I was pregnant with ds. I came across these when looking for a pic of ds with my mom. Thought I'd share it and ask if any of you have some funny baby shower pics to share.

I would love to post some pics but don't know how! I'm semi computer literate, but step by steps are always appreciated. :)

Ok, I'll take a stab at this. It really is easy once you know the steps to take.
First, find the pics you want to post. If you have a photo editing program you will need to resize them to no more than 20000 KBytes and make sure they are saved in as a jpeg file. Save them to your desktop or a file that you use for bb pics. When you have done that go down to the box that say's click here to choose your attachments at bottom of message body (see below) This is what you will see when it opens.

Step 1. Click on 'Browse...' button to choose your attachment file.
(maximum size allowed = 20000 KBytes)

Step 2. Define your attachment type:
Plain text file HTML file
JPEG image file GIF image file
Zip compressed file tar compressed file
Check this box if you wish to embed attachment URL in the message text box.
Step 3. Click on 'Upload File!' button to finish. The uploaded file name will automatically be added to the attachment textbox.
Close this window

click on the browse button to choose your attachment (picture) and locate your pic in whatever file you have saved it.
Make sure you select JPEG image file
and click the box- Check this box if you wish to embed attachment URL in the message text box(this will open the picture in your post so viewer doesn't have to click on it to open the attachment.
Upload the file and you are done.

Hope this makes sense to you. If anyone has more simplified instructions PLEASE feel free to post them!

These pictures are from last weekend. I should add a disclaimer that in the first one with me and my mom I have gained 15 lbs and my mom has lost 15 lbs so that's why I look like such a cow next to her! I don't think mom's should be able to lose weight while their daughters are pg! :) Just kidding--I'm really proud of her for doing it. The second one is of my "mini-hostesses" who were the daughters of two of the hostesses. As soon as anyone came into the house, they were shown where to sign in and then Alex and Shelby would go to the front room and get them cake and punch. It was so funny...they waited on everyone that came in, even my dad and DH when they came to pick us up! (Alex is the one smiling with her mouth closed so she didn't have to show her braces :) ) I had a really great time and people were so generous. I have another shower on the 21st so if this post is still alive and kicking I will add some more. I have a feeling the next one will be more "fun and games" type so there might be some crazy pictures to share. :)

what a yummy looking cake! The best part about baby showers when you're the one getting showered is that you can eat as much cake as you want!

And they sent me home with a HUGE slab of it because it didn't all get eaten. I just finished off the last piece about an hour ago. :) And it was soooooo good, especially the ICING!

Angela,

You look absolutely radiant. You are just beaming in that picture. And they make shower cakes so big so that us preggo mommies can polish off the rest. I hope you enjoyed it. I know I did mine!

Here are a few shots from my shower.

This is my dear niece who will forever be known as Cousin Monster Girl. I had this thing with putting my hands on my belly for much of my later pregnancy.

Ok, now you have to tell us why! Please!

I was constantly holding my stomach when pregnant (even before I was showing).

That cake was absolutely beautiful and your favors looked so cute. What are they? Little plants? Thanks for posting.
