So all this talk about the curry (thanks Rashmi!) has me thinking about food! We don't cook a whole lot (more ever since DD was born), but there are some recipes that I tend to fall back on when I'm attending a potluck or we have guests for dinner, etc. So what are some of your favorite recipes?
I'll go first:
1) Almond Cheesecake with Sour Cream (vanilla) topping: It's the first cheesecake I ever liked--got the recipe from my friend's mother.
2) BBQ'd Lamb with a BBQ sauce containing fresh Rosemary (lots), Mint extract, and some honey (depending on the BBQ sauce) mixed in the blender.
3) Homemade dumplings (ingredients vary every time I make it, but it might contain ground pork or ground turkey or chopped shrimp, it might have shredded cabbage, ****ake mushrooms, scallions, water chestnuts....depends on my pantry and mood. :)
4) Homemade Spaghetti sauce with eggplant (and lots of other stuff).
hmm...I'm getting hungry, LOL!
