I am fairly proud of this cake! It was for Gabrielle's doggy themed party. The kids ate their cake out of plastic dog bowls that I painted with their names. Just wanted to share.

Oh, wow! You're so talented! Can you design a cat-shaped cake for Kaya's birthday next year? :) I definitely love it!

That is amazing! How long did it take to decorate?

I decorated sugar cookies one year for Halloween and seriously thought I would die before I finished... :)

Thanks everyone for indulging my self congratulations! My ego appreciates your kindness.
The truth is that the cake was easy (a little time consuming). I bought a cake pan in the shape of a puppy. I followed the directions to the letter. It was spelled out little by litte. The decoration is just dots made with a star tip. No real decorating skill necessary just a little patience.

By the way, there are cake pans in every shape you can imagine. You just have to spend a little time searching the web to find what you want.

Thanks again,

tippy

Very Cute. Thanks for sharing. I have an elmo mold (I bought it for 25 cents at a twin sale!) but the directions for decorating had me shaking in my boots. You have inspired me!
