Just read your signature you sneaky little thing! Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy!!
And i love what you wrote about being a good mom in Lana's post.. i always think you are such a great mom, that vibe just comes out from your posts, that you are having a fun time being a mom.. being in the moment. Ainsleigh and the new little one on the way are very lucky to have you as their mama.. and i mean that with all my heart.
Congrats once again!

Awww. Thanks, ladies! I haven't been around much lately (travelling, coaching my teenage bro's soccer team, extreme fatigue, some nausea), so I've felt kind of "out of the loop." And because of that, I figured an official "announcement" might be met with "mamawho?" And I had some spotting there that really freaked me out since I didn't have any with Ainsleigh, but all is well. It's starting to sink in as real. Here's the first picture of our latest addition. I think it looks like a jumbo shrimp:
http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/12537.jpg
And Helen - since being at your house and having a caffeine-free diet coke, can I just say I'm LOVING the stuff! That poured over a big ol glass of ice saves me in my moments of "Uh oh, I think something's coming up!"

And congrats, Bonnie! I think that's the first I've seen of your announcement. What a wonderful surprise for you!

It could just be from your travels and sitting...a jaunt to Hawaii and sitting on the plane can cause that according to my OB (well in my case it was not a jaunt to Hawaii :)). He actually puffed up his lips and said "this is how your cervix looks it is full of blodd right now and sitting a long time can cause some bleeding". I don't know if that is correct or not but thought I'd share it with you.

What a gorgeous baby!!!!!
And are you crazy saying "mamawho"...you are as loved as loved can get here girlie!!!!
We can't wait to see you thru this!!!!

Thanks! And you're right, it does look like a jumbo shrimp, lol, but a BEAUTIFUL jumbo shrimp it is, huh? What a gorgeous sight to see. I haven't had spotting, but I am feeling mini crampiness that is scaring me and I hate that! I can't wait to get my next u/s to see how things are really looking. Glad to hear your spotting was absolutely nuttin!

Hmm - that's interesting, Neve, because I had some spotting a few days after arriving in Hawaii, and then some more after returning home. And I got checked when I had the u/s and the NP said she "poked" the cervix and nothing came out. Woohoo. DH was worried it was sex-related and that all relations would be called off. ;)

I'm glad you read that the way I mean for it to read...
That "no don't stop the relations" :)
as I re read the subject line it sounds like I said the opposite of what I meant...

but you knew the source so you know I wouldn't have said that :)...

Sarah glad the caffeine-free Diet Coke worked for you. It was a real treat for me in both my pregnancies and ESPECIALLY during my nursing (since I didn't want caffeinated babies waking up at night). I even had DH bring some in a cooler to the hospital so I could quench my post-labor thirst. :)

And I'm glad you got to see the 'shrimp'!

BTW, I think we go to the same OB/GYN office..... no surprise since we use the same hospital for L&D!
