After weeks of reading all your brownie posts, I finally went to Costco and bought the brownies I've been walking past for years.. all I can say is "OH MY GODDDDDDD!!" Seriously, it's amazing they come from a mix.. :)

So, now I'm looking to top them with some yummy icing.. any good (fairly easy) recipes????

TIA!

Scroll about halfway down in this thread for a recipe posted by Anna (pritchettzoo):

I know it isn't a white icing, but I like to top my brownies with a mint buttercream frosting.

1 pound powdered sugar
1/3 cup soft butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt (very important)
mint flavoring to taste
green food coloring, if desired
Just mix everything together until smooth and spread on brownies.

Right. In all my "up" time ;).

BTW - Anna says cream cheese frosting kicks serious butt on these brownies.

Just because my glucose test came back OK, doesn't mean I should be going crazy. Besides, so much chocolate in these babies, it voids my cardiac meds!
