What has the brownie fairy been doing about a return address on packages? Have you been doing your real address or a fake one?

Well, i was going to do a fake one then thought I should put a real one in case there was a problem with the address or something. But this gave me away! There has to be a way around it.. maybe put a fake address and then track the package?

What about using your DH's or a friend's work address? For some folks, the friend would have to be in another state for you not to be found out--Candy and Amy are the only ones I know who live in Montana, for example!

I cheated and ordered something online so that it could be sent straight to the recipient. I explained to customer service that it was a surprise gift so that they wouldn't include the billing info.

My fairy was smart and used my address for the return one as well, so it was to and from me!

But wouldn't the postmark still give away what city and state they were from?

My Brownie fairy used a fake street address, but I assume the real city, state and zip (since it matched the postmark).

Is anyone else cracking up over the fact that different people can log in and respond as the Brownie Fairy? It's like the fairy has multiple personalities. :)

Silly me, I just figured that out in this very thread!

Thank you, Brownie Fairy(ies) and everyone else! I like the idea of using the recipient's own address as the return address, too. If the person who gets brownied wants to obsess over the postmark, I say, let 'em go right ahead - that's part of the fun!
