Airline Travel

Hi everyone-

I'm going to travel with my 2-year-old soon and am wondering if anyone knows about the ticketing policies of the major airlines.

Do I have to buy a full-fare ticket or do any of the airlines offer a "child fare"?

I think once they turn 2 they have to pay full fare on all major airlines, but if someone knows different, please correct me!

I flew Southwest and bought a seat for my 2 year old ds in August. I called them directly and they do discount full fares for children. As it turned out, the discounted full fare would have cost more than the fare I found on their website, so I just purchased on the site.
