Is it true that the new season of Alias won't start until January '05?? That stinks! I was so looking forward to a fall premiere. :(

Is that true Mariana??? It's my favorite show and I assumed it would be starting this month like everything else... I guess I'll go on their website to see when it starts :(

Yes it's true. They wanted to give the writers time to get the show back on track. By starting in Jan all the episodes will air back to back without break. Makes for a bummer of a Fall TV season but the new Alias is supposed to be great.

Ah, well. But my favorite Sci-fi shows are all starting, as is Monk and Dead Zone. But at least the new season is supposed to be great. Love that show!

Yay Monk! I forgot that one! When is it starting up?

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed in Alias Season 3. It just didn't go anywhere interesting, it seemed like every week had such a huge plot twist that the writers were just confused as to where is story was really going. I bought the DVD set last week and have been watching them. It just lacked. Where's Will? Where's Irina? :( The commentaries aren't bad though.

Did you know that the Alias concept was born on the set of Felicity (my other favorite show)? The writers (JJ Abrams) were having a tough time coming up with plots for Felicity and thought that is would be so much easier if she was a spy. :) Several of the actors are the same too...Marshall, Weiss, Sydney, and Carrie (Marshall's wife). Even many of the sets are the same!

Yay, I'm such a dork!

Unfortunately, DH told me that Monk just finished its season, so I guess we'll have to wait for new episodes...in the winter? :(

Interesting about the inception of the Alias concept. I don't watch Felicity, so I didn't know that. So the actors are the same? Or the character names? Anyway, I am hoping for a much better season 4.

However, CSI is starting soon, so that'll be fun...and I assume all the Sunday Fox stuff (Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle, King of the Hill) will be starting soon, as well. Hmm...we watch too much tv...although we've cut waaay back since DD was born--too tired and not enough time. :)

The actors are the same, but not the characters. On Felicity Carrie and Weiss were a couple. :) It was also written by the same people as Alias, and other than being extremely enjoyable, they don't have anything else in common. I'm extremely addicted to both. Season 3 of Felicity is being released on DVD this month, and I'm totally stoked! I guess it just brings back fond memories of my college days! (Felicity is set at the University of NY)

We really don't watch as much TV anymore, since the baby joined us, but we still make time for the Simpsons, Alias, and Monk. Netflix is my new friend though. I love renting TV Shows, that's how I got hooked on Felicity and Gilmore Girls.

Yay, I'm a total dork!

Actually, we also have done Netflix. It's how we ended up watching the first two seasons of Six Feet Under. Except for the Christmas episode in the second season (which was very good), we liked the first season better. I'm hoping (whenever Netflix gets it) that the third season will be better. We also got hooked on 24 with Netflix. Again, we're waiting for the 3rd season to go on DVD. Watching TV is so much harder because of schedules. Netflix makes things so much easier. Although we are pretty nerdy because our computer has been converted into a VCR and it records most of our shows. We even got a larger harddrive just so we could record our shows.
