Hurrah! I'm so glad the test came out negative. I've been thinking of you and am glad things are looking more positive. You're seeing THE BRUCE? Cool! I'm going to miss the tour, but I'm sure I'll read all about it in the papers. :) Have fun and don't overdo things. ;-)

Hugs to you, Isabella, and baby!

Helene!

Wonderful news!!!

Jonathan wanted to go to the concert, but I knew there was no WAY we'd be able to get there in time on a work night. Besides, it's not like I can stand that long ;).

I have worked some of Bruce's concerts. You are in for a treat. He puts on one hell of a show.

Have a WONDERFUL time!

thank you everyone for your warm wishes again. This board is AWESOME>
Marissa,
I wish you were going it would have been great to meet IRL. I have seen Bruce 3 times and was so excited to get floor seats this time but since ther is no seating I called the box office and they are giving me lowers instead due to the contrctions so I will have a seat. They will also let me use the guest services bathroom so no waiting inline.
I can't believe you have worked his shows. I always tell DH that I am marrying Bruce when I grow up. When I was pregnant with bella - he was all Iistened to and from the time she was tiny she alway reacted when he came on. Now at 3 she can name a ton of songs and sing most of them. Her favorite of the moment is 10th avenue freeze out. It is hysterical when Clarence has his solo she says GO Clarence. She was really bummed we didnt get her a ticket - I hope he is still playing when she is a bit older so we can take her.

Helene,
I missed your intial post about the ctx since I was out of town, so I"m really sorry to be chiming in so late, but want to offer my congrats on the negative fFN test! I had MANY of these done with C and they can be so unnerving. I also wanted to offer an assurrance that if you ever SHOULD get a "positive" result (assuming you're having to repeat these) - don't freak out about it. I ended up with a positive fFN at 29 or 30 weeks and ended up carrying to 37 weeks. It's a reassuring test when the result is negative but it's not necessarily a good predictor if it is positive.

A little history - I went into full on preterm labor at 22 weeks, was hospitalized twice (the second time with mag sulfate) and was eventually put on Procardia several times a day with terbutilene PRN for breakthrough ctx and full bedrest from 22 weeks on. I continued to contract throughout but my cervix stopped changing regularly and I went off the meds at 36w6d and delivered at 37w2d. Feel free to PM or e-mail me if you want support, etc.!
Hugs and prayers for an uneventful pregnancy!!
