OK - I've heard of belly stretch marks

But what is the deal with belly SPIDER VEINS???!!!!!

I was looking at my pathetically large belly last night, and lo and behold - spider veins! In three different areas!

I have them on the sides of my thighs, but those are always in the dark. ;) :P

Did anybody else suffer this terrible anomalie?? Do they go away?

I had them on my arms during my first pregnancy. They were bizarre, but they did go away....

In my last pregnancy, I had them on the top of my tummy where my ribs met the bulge, and they faded, as well....

So, depending on how you view me...;-)....I think it can bea normal thing. I could never get one of my docs to be remotely interested in them. LOL!

I had them all over the place--arms, legs, face, chest, belly--you name a place, I probably had one there. They did all go away after having DD though (thank goodness).
