How Long Does Coffee Keep?

I bought a container of Trader Joe's Columbian Supremo on Monday. I made a 6 cup pot of it that went to waste. Wouldn't you know it that my ILs didn't want coffee the one time I have it ready and waiting for them?! x(

How long is it good for? We don't drink coffee, and I hate to toss it.

Should I put it in a different kind of container - a ziploc? Freeze it? Right now I have it in the fridge.

Put it in a freezer safe ziplock, push as much air out as you can, and freeze it. It will be fine like that for a fairly long time.

I like to freeze it in ice cube trays, then store the cubes in a ziplock. I use the cubes to make iced coffee later on. yummm!

Definitely freeze it. It will keep for a long time that way.
