DD has recently started making a really rude noise that involves a lot of spitting. I think she picked it up at day care.

Cute in a little baby perhaps, but not so much in a toddler. I've tried ignoring it, asking her to stop ("Mommy doesn't it when you do that"), but she thinks it's totally hilarious. She particularly likes doing it in my face. YUCK! I know it's par for the toddler course and she'll stop doing it before her Princeton interview, but it BUGS me!

Any suggestions????

Is that the RASPBERRY belly noise? That also is the fanny burp noise? My DS has been doing that constantly for the last 2 months. It can be funny when he is playing, but he thinks it is how you greet people. No advice, just looking for answers here too.

No advice here either, just sympathy.

Mia "rattlesnakes" when she's angry and/or frustrated - sometimes right before she smacks you. Ugh. We tell her "don't spit" and she goes to timeout but I'm not sure that it's really even worth it.

If they're still doing it at college interview time, can our kids go together? ;)
