OT: Suggestions for lip gloss/lipstick

Just wanted something inexpensive for a "pick me up". I wear an occasional lip balm with SPF 15. Used to wear lipstick but quit when ds came along. I'm looking for something that lasts a little longer and does not feel thick, does not make your lips dry and has SPF 15 at least. Any suggestions? Does anybody use Avon? What is your favorite?

I like Burt's Bees lip shimmers- they are BARELY tinted, and the formula is basically the same as their regular lip balm, which I love. Great for cooler weather! It's all natural and pepperminty. really moisturizes your lips!

Clinque's "Almost Lipstick" is good. I also like a lip tint by Almay (it's in a skinny, kind of short tube). I know that it has SPF 15.

i was going to suggest burts bees! i just discovered them and love them! also purchased at the same time and love equally - terra tints - which are also minty and have an spf of 18.

I like the cheap Cover Girl lip gloss. They aren't too much color for days when I haven't gotten around to any other makeup and they aren't drying at all.

I've been using Almost Lipstick by Clinique. I don't know anything about it re: spf--it was a freebie from DH's aunt who works at Clinique.

I like Aveda--both the regular lipstick and the gloss. Both feel nice, I think at least the lipstick has SPF, and have a nice natural smell too. You need to go to a salon that sells Aveda though.

I agree - Aveda is great. Origins is nice too. If they don't have an actual store in your mall, they usually have a booth in Dillards.

Ah...Yes, the lip gloss pick-me-up! I know all about that.

Just did this for myself about 2 weeks ago. My recommendation is Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer. Love the color "Raisin".
