Never too late in my opinion - I'd rather get one really late versus not at all. My pet peeve is no thank you note (sorry if I'm offending someone!) so go ahead & send it - I think people understand too, that with a baby life is a lot crazier. Now for weddings I think you have up to a year according to the etiquette gods. :)

Send it! Late is better than never. I hate when I take the time to send someone a baby gift and never receive acknowledgement - except for close family, that's usually the last gift I buy for that person!

I say send it too! It's always great to be appreciated. I haven't gotten thank you notes from the last 4 wedding gifts I gave out, which irks me!

never too late! I'm still sending thank yous to people for gifts and things they did for us many, many months ago.

I say send them out too. Better late than not at all. And, I'll bet if you include a picture of your cutie Erik, they will forget the delay. Depending on what they gave (toys, blanket, clothing, gear) you may also be able incorporate the gifts into the pictures.

Send the thank-you notes. They will be appreciated! I like receiving thank-you notes b/c that way I know that the gift arrived!

Definitely never too late as opposed to not sending it at all. I think the "proper" etiquette is up to 6 months - although I always thought that was too long.

It's NEVER too late. I'm sure the person you send it to will really appreciate it, and they'll understand how busy you've been!

Send it! If I'd sent the gift, I'd be a bit perturbed that I hadn't gotten a thank you yet, but I'd feel better if it came late than not at all. In fact, once I got it, I wouldn't be ticked anymore.

I know, I know. I never had these people's address (they send the gift through a common acquaintance), and once I got it, well, you know how it goes...

Usually I'm pretty good about this stuff..
