Does anyone know about the quality of silk based on mm? I want to buy some silk scarfs to make play silks and found some that are 5mm....is this too thin? They also have 8mm but they are more money and we are on a VERY tight budget. Also, does anyone know can you kool-aid dye them? If not what dye would I use? I would love to buy some premade but we dont have the money, and I think it would be more meaningful if I made them. Help. Oh...and this is where I found them:

I dont even know quality wise, but the price is something I can afford to get a whole set of. Any other ideas?

Yes, you can dye them with kool-aid, the colors are great. I think these prices may be better: http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1741-AA.shtml
