Well, it seems that it is quite a takd for me to be dressed appropriately and have my kids to their activities on time. This morning, dressed in summer capries, sweatshirt and shoes with no socks I dropped my ds off to kindergarten 5 minutes late. I then went home decided I had no time to do wash so I put on yesterdays (weather appropriate) clothes and showed up 15 minutes late to dd's gymnastics class.

I thought to myself: That pregnant Neve, with a toddler, is traveling half way around the world to adopt more children... I can surely do some laundry and wake up on time!!

As I was reading I couldn't help but think your "Neve moment" was the lack of being dressed appropriately and being late -now that is a "Neve moment" :)...

And laundry is piling up quickly here...in fact I have so much to do before we leave that I am actually afraid to even start...

I would do anything to have a clean home, folded clothes , rooms ready when the children come home...but that is not going to happen in this home!!!!

You are sweet girlie...but please don't let me fool you I resemble the mornings you describe almost exclusively...

Neve, I think we all have those days! :) We got back from FL last week and it still looks like we just got back!!! The only laundry I've managed to keep up with is the diaper laundry (necessity), but I've only gotten through 3 loads of the "other" laundry and managed to make some baby food. Otherwise, everything's in such disarray that I'm so glad we're not having Thanksgiving dinner at our house!!!

Anyway, I don't think I've mentioned it before, but I LOVE Tristan's avatar.

OMG Neve, your departure is JUST around the corner! I cannot believe it! Ack, pretty soon you could be mama to 4, 5, 6 kids!!!!!!!!! Oh, my! It seems like the adoption has proceeded so quickly. I am so excited to hear all the news once you are there. Are you still planning to blog?

Oh, and back to the original thread. I went to work the other day in shorts and a sweatshirt. Um, I live in Cali but on the ocean and it is COLD here. I was freezing all day long!
