I'd love to get a Dyson but there's no way I'm convincing dh to get a $400+ vacuum. I'll be checking out the Consumer Reports ratings but wanted real-life experiences from you all first.
So here's my criteria:
-Prefer to spend less than $250, but I can probably spend up to $350 if it's stellar
-Can handle cat fur
-Easy to use on stairs
-Potential use on non-carpeted areas
-Quiet - dd is VERY scared of our current Eureka
I've never used a bagless, so I don't know how I feel about emptying dust cups.
