Like children's book illustrations? Very cool fundraiser!

Wow! Check out this fundraiser to benefit sarcoma research. Almost 200 illustrators donated an original snowflake artwork for auction, and a batch of them is currently up for bid on ebay. All I can say is WOW! The artists include Eric Carl, Mary Jane Begin (Wind in the Willows), Marc Brown, Chris Van Allsburg (Polar Express), etc.

Grace Lin (Robert's Snow) is married to a sarcoma patient, and she started this fundraiser to benefit the Dana Farber Sarcoma Center.

I wish I could afford to buy one; they're gorgeous! And what a great fundraising idea. I'm so impressed! I hope they raise a ton of money.

You are right. Those are gorgeous. Can you imagine having a Christmas Tree decorated with all of them! Ahhh...in my dreams. I'm sorry I can't bid (too$$$$) but I'm sure they will raise a bunch of money for a great cause.
