I would like to buy an iPod for my brother for xmas and when I checked buy.com and bestbuys.com I noticed there is the regular model from Apple and then another called Apple iPod from HP. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Any help would be great. I will probably order from the apple site anyway for free shipping and engraving but I'm curious about this HP model.

There is no difference at all, if you can believe that! They are both PC compatable, and use itunes software. HP is just marketing with Apple under their own label.

Yep, no real difference. The only difference is really the HP on the label. It's just a marketing agreement...

It's going to make a great gift either way!
