She was due in January. It must have been the first or second week of January, since she announced when she was 9 weeks pregnant and the news broke the first week of June. So by my calculations, that would put her due date as the end of the first or second week of January. And that means that her babies were born in the 33rd or 34th week.

OOH Hazel was my choice for Grace but I was out voted by my family, everyone hated it!

Oh no, another Finn?! Just what I need is all the celebs steeling my "unique" name :P

Of course, i hope she and her babies are doing well and have only a quick stay in the hospital.

Juliet,

When I read the names of the babies, the first thing I thought of was THE original Finn, your Finn!

Egads! That is what I thought too.. why did she have to steal YOUR name..grr.. oh well.. at least it is spelt differently. And for it is worth, in my book, there is only one FINN!

Yep, that's what I thought of when I saw the blurb. But as Rashmi said, "There's only one Finn!"

I've been wondering what they weighed. But I haven't seen any details on that yet.

I read on yahoo they were 6lbs each so I'm wondering if she didn't fudge her due date a little so she could give birth privately. If the press wasn't expecting anything until January... and she didn't talk about how they were conceived but knew the genders by 9 weeks so that makes me wonder as well.

Congrats to her and hopefully they are home quickly!

I know! When Charlie was born, we were at the hospital with no girl names, and two boy names - Finneas and Charlie - we ended up with Charlie, obviously, because our middle name went better with Charles (which is also a family name), and since Charlie was born on the same day as my grandfather (whose name is C's middle name). So, I promised DH that we would use Finneas next time - but now it'll probably be #1 on the list and much too popular...

We have a friend who named her baby girl Hazel just last week! It was a family name - but I'm sure she's freaking out right now!

I love the name charlie. I wanted charlie so bad but dh nixed it. However, we almost used charlie for Finn's middle name.

Oh, and Hazel is my grandmother's name although she went by her middle name, Jean. It is definately not a name you hear around much but my neice has a very good friend, about 9 years old, who is named Hazel. She is one cute Hazel.

I think Regis said this morning they were a month early...so maybe she did fudge a bit...as speculated. I heard last week she was on bed rest, I think...but wow...two 6 lbers...good job!

I heard on the radio that she had embryos implanted, so they may have known the sex from the beginning?

Hope they are doing well. I had two preemies myself. One at 32 weeks the other at 34. It's not easy having two preemies two years apart, I couldn't imagine having preemie twins.
