I know I should know this, but I can't remember. Kai got two shots on Monday (not flu, just regular vacc) and yesterday one side had a big. red, kind of hard bump around the injection spot. Now today they are both like that. I thought it was pretty common, but now I am starting to question it. I've been giving him Motrin as I assume it is probably a bit painful.

Should I call the doctor's office?

I guess it depends on what you consider big. DD got red bumps at her injection sites but I don't think they were big. 1/8" maybe, less than a 1/4". I've been known to give DD tylanol or motron for 24 hours after a vaccination. I don't think it is anything to worry about, but if it makes you feel better, by all means give the doctor a call. DD's doctor always tells us what to expect after vaccinations, what's normal and when to call. I like that.

Yes, call. It will make you feel better.
My dd had a "lump" that was red and warm. Dr. has come right in and gave antibiotics.
